About me

I am blessed to be a wife to a wonderful husband that can fix, build or put together anything. Not only is he the handiest of all men but he is the best dad a kid could ask for! Being a mom to such a sweet and silly toddler has been the biggest blessing and challenge. She teaches me patience and shows me the joy and curiosity in the little things of life. And now we have a beautiful new baby in our life, Reina. She is the perfect addition to our little family.

Icky Spiders....

Lexi LOVES Halloween! She loves dressing up at every chance she gets, scouring the neighborhood for Halloween lights, and yelling "icky spider" every time she sees a cob web or spider. In the month of October we went all over town to every Halloween/Harvest festival we knew of and she loved it.
She really got into decorating this year so we bought a few foam kits to build a spooky house and decorations to go around the house. Any opportunity to use a glue stick and she is happy.

One of our favorite activities is decorating sugar cookies so we made some at home and also at one of the Harvest festivals we went to.

As long as there are sprinkles she is happy!

Tasting her creations...

Happy frosting girl...

Sarah and I helping Pooh and Minnie decorate their cookies...We are trying to make sure the toppings end up on the cookie and not just in their mouths...

How cute are they?!

Searching through the pumpkin patch for the perfect one!

Lex must have told us about a million times how Dean was dressed like Tigger...

I am pretty sure a fight broke out right after this picture was taken, Lexi really wanted to hold Lily's wand and Lily was not interested in sharing. But at least for this pic they both look happy!

Decorating some spooky pictures

It wouldn't be a Halloween festival without a bouncy slide, Lexi loves them. Look at that hair!

Precious Minnie...

Lils is such a trickster when you ask her to smile, she likes to give her best scowl. Makes for a funny pic!

Cinderella showed us her super strength by helping to lift Minnie off the ground.

One of the festivals also had a Home Depot station so Lex got to show off her handy man skills that Frank has passed on to her. Screwdrivers and hammers, no biggie...She doesn't need any help!

Jess and I challenged Lexi to pick up her pumpkin and carry it, we were both shocked when she actually did it. The grunts and noises coming from her while carrying it were hilarious!

And finally to Halloween night!

Lex was helping to hold Viv up, she kept leaning towards Lexi and she was happy to hold her up for a few minutes but then started to give us a look like "I'm sick of holding this kid up, someone please help".

"I don't want to hold you up anymore but I will give you a kiss"

And of course the Minnie Mustache!

I love my little Minnie Mouse!!
