About me

I am blessed to be a wife to a wonderful husband that can fix, build or put together anything. Not only is he the handiest of all men but he is the best dad a kid could ask for! Being a mom to such a sweet and silly toddler has been the biggest blessing and challenge. She teaches me patience and shows me the joy and curiosity in the little things of life. And now we have a beautiful new baby in our life, Reina. She is the perfect addition to our little family.

Everything including the kitchen sink!
It has been 2 months since my last post so picking pictures for this blog was an impossible task.

Definitely the highlight of the last 2 months for Lexi was starting gymnastics. She LOVES going every Thursday and its amazing to watch her weekly transformation of what she can do.

Trying out some of her new gymnast moves around town...

She gets a lot of attention in her orange zebra leotard from grandma...

Cooking and shopping are 2 of her favorite new hobbies.

She loves to "help" us make breakfast, pancakes and french toast are her specialties.

Apparently "chin up" is the only way she smiles for us now...

"Hmmmm...which animal do I want to bring home???"

"Marshmallows is all I need..."

Last month Sarah and Grant went out of town for the weekend and we had Lily stay with us, it was their 1st sleepover and they had a blast. Now as you can imagine with a 2 and a 3 year old we were not without some fights but for the most part they did a great job spending 48 hours together and having to share every toy.

Taking a ride on the back of Franks bike, they loved telling him to go faster.

Lils and Frank giving their best scowls

Story time at the end of a busy day...

The favorite part of their day was seeing each other first thing in the morning

Ummmm...we aren't quite sure who is bigger, Lexi at 2 years old or Dean at 5 months....Either way Lexi loves to "hold" him.

"What mess mom?"

The last 6 weeks was ridiculously hot so she enjoyed quite a few ice cream cones...

Sticking out her tongue is a new trick she likes to do..

I love this picture, the colors look so vivid.
Visiting great grandpa last weekend, I never want to miss getting a picture of them together

Checking out books all by herself is the highlight of our weekly library visits.

Having a play date with Wy-Wy via skype, its as good as we can do from Tennesse to California.

The plastic tub was full with her snacks and she decided it was time to pack up for the day

 Ready to go!!!

She looks hysterical in the fun house mirror at the library, we both crack up every time she looks at it...

Last weekend for Franks birthday we went out on Sarah and Grants boat to go tubing. While "the men" were trying to throw each other off of the tube us girls played on the beach until it was time for the slower rides...

Viv had a great time at the beach, she apparently was starving for that sand!

Lils was trying to "help" a newly walking Viv navigate through the sand. Unfortunately Viv did not really appreciate Lils help but it was entertaining for us to watch.

Lils 1st trip out, she sat perfectly still the entire time!

Lex was eagle eye with the flag just in case Grant or Lils fell off the tube she was ready to throw the flag up!

Lexi's 1st trip out, Frank of course made her into a daredevil and they did all sort of "tricks".

Do you think she is having fun?

Feet up!

They are yelling, "mas rapido"!!!

It was a great 2 months and I am already in the process of putting together the next blog of pictures all about Halloween. Minnie Mouse is too cute in her costume and we have been busy attending as many Halloween festivals as we can!!
